Account Manager, Large Customer Sales

Job Description

This Account Manager role focuses on managing large client relationships within the Chinese market (Beijing and Shanghai). Responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, understanding their business needs, and presenting Google's advertising solutions to meet their marketing objectives. The role requires fluent English and Mandarin communication skills, experience in online sales, business development, and digital advertising, and the ability to strategically analyze client needs and develop data-driven recommendations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and will contribute to achieving business growth targets.

  • Google Ads product knowledge

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
  • Experience in online sales, business development and digital advertising sales/marketing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in advertising sales and media account management.
  • Experience with spreadsheets/analysis and putting together presentations.
  • Understanding of Google Ads products and platform.
  • Ability to maintain productivity and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to strategically think and analyze the needs of clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management skills.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time.
  • Plan for, and achieve, business growth targets, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build the knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
