Job Description

This Senior Account Executive role within Google Customer Solutions focuses on managing a portfolio of mid-market Chinese enterprise clients. Responsibilities include driving client growth through multi-quarter plans, delivering excellent customer experiences, coaching junior team members, collaborating with specialists and product teams, and establishing strong executive-level partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, extensive experience in advertising sales, and a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies. The role requires strategic thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to build compelling narratives to engage clients and achieve business objectives. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks, and defining success metrics.
Must have:

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or IT.
  • 4 years of experience in managing Chinese enterprise clients, agencies or customers.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and ability to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics, and product knowledge across all digital advertising products.
  • Ability to strategically assess and solve customer needs via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged selling.
  • Ability to exhibit thought leadership and executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling as an engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a group of businesses by understanding what promotes, growth, identify opportunities for growth, manage risks and create multi-quarter plans for growth.
  • Prioritize and deliver an excellent customer experience to Google's advertisers.
  • Coach junior teammates in the organization to become more proactive and expand skills that cultivate customers growth and contribute to overall team success.
  • Generate plans by collaborating with specialists, engineers and product teams, and define business goals, strategies and metrics for success.
  • Establish a partnership with executives and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize and expand the advertising investment.
