Job Description

This position involves managing daily finance and accounting operations, including preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining and reconciling General Ledger accounts, and handling banking activities. The role requires ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations, preparing recurring journal entries, and supporting internal and external audits. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and provide tailored financial solutions to clients, ensuring smooth financial operations and effective collaboration. The job also includes managing Fixed Assets and performing bank reconciliations.
Must have:
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in RTR/GL F&A
  • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills
  • B. Com & CA Inter certification
  • Strong communication & Excel skills
  • Ability to drive process improvements
  • Ability to work well with stakeholders

  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance and accounting departments.
  2. Prepare and post month-end journal entries including accruals, provisions, and prepayments, ensuring compliance with internal policies and deadlines.
  3. Maintain and reconcile General Ledger (GL) accounts and perform monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  4. Manage day-to-day banking activities and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  5. Handle daily general accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  6. Prepare and record journals related to amortizations, payroll, and other recurring entries.
  7. Analyze and prepare recurring journal entries and ensure proper accrual accounting.
  8. Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of Fixed Assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
  9. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
  11. Monitor and manage day-to-day banking activities and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  12. Continually assess and improve current processes and procedures to drive operational excellence.
  13. Develop and maintain proactive working relationships with clients, ensuring delivery of agreed expectations.
  14. Understand client needs and provide tailored financial solutions and support.
  15. Ensure smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams for effective financial operations.

Qualifications

  1. We are looking for a candidate with 3 to 6 years of experience in RTR/GL F&A function.
  2. Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills.
  3. B. Com & CA Inter
  4. Should have Service mindset.
  5. Should have strong communication & Excel skills.
  6. Strong experience and ability to drive process improvements.
  7. Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other team members.
  8. Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders.
  9. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
