As the Assistant Content Manager for the Hollywood vertical, you will assign and help oversee the production and quality of features, recaps, and trend-driven pieces covering scripted content—from Netflix thrillers and network sitcoms to HBO dramas and cult favorites. You’ll work closely with the content manager, writers, and editors, and ensure Primetimer stays ahead of what’s relevant in TV.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign and inspect the articles daily in collaboration with the writers' pool.
  
• Provide timely feedback and quality checks to ensure editorial standards are met.
  
• Stay updated on breaking entertainment news, major releases, and social media buzz.
  
• Assist in story planning, pitching timely and creative angles tailored to the Primetimer voice.
  
• Coordinate with the content manager and the editors on scheduling, coverage priorities, and real-time content pushes.
  
• Lead real-time coverage for premieres, finales, and newsworthy moments in scripted TV.
  
• Track performance metrics (clicks, shares, SEO rankings) and optimize content accordingly.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  
• At least 2 years of experience in entertainment reporting/editing, preferably in the Hollywood space.
  
• Strong editorial judgment and understanding of the entertainment landscape, especially scripted content.
  
• Familiarity with tools like Google Trends, SEO basics, and resourceful social media platforms.
  
• Excellent time management and leadership skills; ability to juggle quick turnarounds and editorial quality.
  
• Willingness to work night shifts if required. (7 PM to 3 AM IST).
