Job Description

The Associate Manager, HRBP will provide business partnering support to senior managers and harmonize current policies and procedures. They will report to the Senior Manager, 2K Madrid, and be based in either Madrid or Valencia, providing high-quality HR support for all employees. Responsibilities include administering HR policies, creating reports, coordinating training, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering employee engagement. The role involves a hybrid work arrangement with the option to work from home up to two days a week.
Must have:
  • HR experience in a global organization.
  • Proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Workday HRIS.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

What We Need

In this newly created position of Associate Manager, Human Resources the successful candidate will be accountable for providing business partnering support to senior managers, harmonising current policies and procedures.  

The role will report into the Senior Manager, 2K Madrid and be based in either Madrid or Valencia.

The successful candidate will provide high quality HR support for all employees across Valencia or Madrid, fielding front facing HR queries as they arise and supporting the Manager, HRBP with onboarding, benefits admin and partnering with the global HR ops team. They will be active in progressing our label from a performance, culture and engagement perspective, adding solution orientated support to employees and managers.

This is a hybrid role with the option of working from home up to two days a week and three days in office.

 

What You Will Do

  • Administration of HR policies, processes and procedures; makes recommendations for improvements and changes and assists in development and implementation of policies.
  • Create and manage various HR reports and metrics, driving data informed decisions
  • Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives with the talent development partners
  • Ensure end to end legal compliance is adhered to, always displaying a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
  • Win the hearts and minds of our employees by hosting regular listening groups, drop in sessions, HR open door days to bolster engagement and drive morale
  • Be a passionate team player with a drive to create a positive work environment.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication, including high-quality document preparation and presentation skills.

 

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

  • A person who is action orientated, tackles problems head on and calls out challenges as they arise
  • A person who understands the existing culture and is willing to ask questions and learn
  • Business understanding, knowledge, professionalism; experience in all aspects of how a business operates/ seek to learn the different functions
  • Someone eager to learn and educate themselves on local legislation ie: Spain working with the ER Specialist, occasionally supporting with note taking
  • Minimum 1-2 years HR Experience in a medium, fast-paced,  global matrix organization with a demonstrated history of achieving results

  • Advanced capability in using Microsoft Excel & Workday HRIS
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills – verbal and written
  • Awareness of own limitations and when to seek support/advice
