About the job:
As a Campus Security Manager at Google, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the safety and security of our campus. You will coordinate physical security, investigations, risk assessments, protective services, travel safety, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs. You will also be responsible for supervising employees and contractors performing security and safety-related tasks, along with monitoring associated performance and budget. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and collaborating with internal and external partners to address security risks and incidents. You will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall security and resilience of Google's operations.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience managing security operations
  • Experience working with vendors and managing security teams
  • Fluency in English and Filipino for client relationship management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and supervise staff and contractors
Good to have:
  • Experience with security technologies (CCTV, Access Control, Incident Management Systems)
  • Experience working with law enforcement agencies and emergency services
  • Experience in managing security operations and suppliers
  • Experience in delivering high-quality, customer-oriented security programs
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience managing security operations within a multinational corporation/organization.
  • Experience working with vendors and managing security teams.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Filipino fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with security technologies including CCTV, Access Control and Incident Management Systems.
  • Experience working with law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
  • Experience in managing security operations, security suppliers, and in delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, you will work with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance the security and safety of Google. As such, you will coordinate physical security, investigations, risk assessments, protective services, travel safety and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs. You will also be responsible for supervising employees and contractors performing specific security and safety-related tasks, along with monitoring associated performance and budget.

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and performance of corporate safety and security standards, policies, and practices. Manage the daily operations of colleagues providing services including security, training, and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with other groups within Google (e.g., HR, Legal, Communications, etc.) and outside of Google.
  • Partner with facilities and other Google business units to identify and rectify security deficiencies, and develop customized policies and procedures to gain compliance with associated regulations.
  • Manage our Google Security team and vendor staff. Support planned and unplanned operations, and support events and special activities as needed. 
  • Collaborate with various project design teams and manage the Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) aspects of creating news facilities.
