The Channel Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling HALEON products to designated channels to achieve sales and customer coverage goals. The role involves developing a channel development strategy and maintaining relationships, reporting to the Sales Director of Modern Trade. Responsibilities include delivering sales performance, optimizing product in-store exposure, achieving profit targets, facilitating new product introductions, increasing customer satisfaction, providing market intelligence, and leading the field team. The role requires channel planning, negotiation skills, and a good command of English and Mandarin. The Channel Manager will also lead JBP discussions and assist customers with inventory and shelf space management.

About the role

Promote and sell HALEON products to designated Channel to achieve sales and customer coverage goals.

Develop Channel development strategy& maintain relationship. This role sits in Modern Trade Dept. and reports to Sales Director, Modern Trade.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales performance in line with company objectives. Formulate winning Channel strategy to drive mutual business growth, negotiate and execute efficiently trade marketing activities, and to ensure good product presence.
  • Lead the team to optimize product in-store exposure, understand Channel & customer product category, shelf space management approaches and explore opportunities to optimize in-store merchandising.
  • Achieve target contribution to company profit performance. Develop effective promotion plans and explore promotion opportunities, effectively utilize rental and allowance resources to drive business growth and develop effective contract negotiation plan to gain saving.
  • Facilitate line extension and new product introduction. Formulate new product go to market strategy as well as implement effectively and efficiently.
  • Increase customer satisfaction and their relationship with HALEON. Lead JBP (Joint Business Plan) discussion to strengthen partnership and engagement and assist customer in managing inventories and shelf space of HALEON products.
  • Proactively provide updated market intelligence to the Sales Director and related working team.
  • Lead the field team to demonstrate excellent execution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in sales / account / channel management, shopper marketing experience is a plus.
  • Logical thinking, strong analytical and good at numbers.
  • Channel planning, negotiation.
  • Good command of English and Mandarin.

Preferred Qualifications:

·Interpersonal and communication skill.  

·Careful, patience and efficient.
