The candidate will also be responsible for handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. The role requires a strong understanding of local employment laws and benefit regulations, and will also assist the US benefits team with tasks as needed.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 6-8 years’ experience in Total Rewards.
  • Strong understanding of local employment laws.
Good to have:
  • Proficient Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a global organization.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms.

About the Role: - We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sr Professional, Compensation & Benefits to join our team in India reporting to Sr Manager, Compensation & Benefits. The Sr Professional will be responsible for local management of reward programs and policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Total Rewards administration to assists in the development of incentive programs and the administration of merit-cycle programs as well as provide support and guidance to employees regarding their benefits. Excellent analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing employee wellbeing will be a prerequisite.  

Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related inquiries and issues.
    • Process enrollment changes monthly.
    • Review monthly invoices for accuracy and process accordingly.
    • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to administer benefits programs including monthly wellness webinars and quarterly health check-ups.
    • Evaluate existing benefits programs and recommend improvements to ensure competitiveness and alignment with company goals.
    • Analyze benefits data to assess program effectiveness and identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare and present reports on benefits utilization, costs, and employee satisfaction to HR leaders.
    • Participate in annual benefit renewal, providing employee data and service feedback.
    • Develop and implement a wellness program to improve the health and wellbeing of employees.
    • Create and distribute educational materials, conduct workshops, and host informational sessions to ensure employees are well-informed about their benefits, enrollment process and plan changes.
    • Develop and update benefits policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
    • Ensure clear documentation and communication of all benefits policies to employees.
    • Ensure all benefits programs comply with local laws and regulations.
    • Collaborate with Finance and answer questions related to benefit processes, balance in deposit and other related tasks.
    • Assist US benefits team with day-to-day/monthly tasks and reporting as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned or required

Skills & Qualifications:-

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
    • 6-8 years’ experience in Total Rewards, or a similar role.
    • Overall accountable for service delivery in C&B, ensuring 2nd tier support and strong project execution.
    • Responsible for the correct execution of (local) Compensation & Benefits processes in line with policies and standard operating procedures
    • Responsible for the deployment of the roadmap of C&B topics with a direct impact and influence on Accurate being the employer of choice.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Excellent analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex data and recommend data driven actions.
    • Proficient Excel skills including VLOOKUP’s and pivot tables.
    • Strong understanding of local employment laws and benefit regulations.
    • Passionate about employee health and wellbeing.
    • Ability to demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and a drive delivery & execution.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees within India.
    • Familiarity with HRIS and other HR technology platforms such as SF, Workday.
    • Must be self-directed and resourceful.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience working in a global organization with team located across multiple countries/time zones.
    • Flexible working in 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM IST timings.
