Job Description

Tesla's Gigafactory in Berlin-Brandenburg seeks a Construction Foreman to support the Construction Team in completing various projects. Responsibilities include performing construction activities, escalating issues, and leading a team of handymen. The role requires diverse skills in mechanical assembly, welding, plumbing, measurements, air connections, logistics, equipment handling, machine relocation, partition assembly, painting, and installation. Experience in industrial construction environments and excellent communication are essential. The ability to read technical drawings and manage team schedules is crucial. Fluent English is necessary, with German preferred. Weekend and night shifts may be required.

Must have:

Construction experience (industrial preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Team leadership abilities
Technical drawing interpretation
Mechanical assembly & welding
Plumbing & air connections
Fluent English (German a plus)

Good to have:

Forklift, crane, and other equipment licenses
Proactive problem-solving skills

We are currently recruiting for a Construction Foreman(m/w/d) to join the team at our Gigafactory in Berlin-Brandenburg.

What You’ll Do

Perform construction activities throughout the Gigafactory Berlin to support the Construction Team in the completion of their projects
Escalate topics to Construction Team.
Assembly and construction works with services skills in:

- Mechanical assembly

- Welding support

- Plumbing water connections / any other

- Measurements for steel / other manufacturing

- Air connections / pneumatic piping

- Transport / logistic / cleaning

- Unloading heavy equipment / material

- Relocation of existing machines / tools / production lines / storage areas

- Assembly of partition, fencing / any other protections, disassembly / rework steel structure according to documentation

- Painting of the steel structure and mineral surfaces

- Installation of lintel’s , foil curtains / tarpaulin

- Licenses for use of the machines such as Forklift, Crane, Telehandler (Manitou), Scissor lifter, Claw booster, Spider crane

What You’ll Bring

Technical Field and/or evidence of exceptional experience in construction works preferably in industrial environment
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.
Flexibility to work on weekends and night shifts
