How you’ll create an impact on the business:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our hybrid work model, including building space allocation, usage analytics, forecasting, layout, and decor to optimize the workspace, ensuring a productive and inspiring environment for our teams.

  • Ensure prompt response to all facilities requests, issues, and complaints, overseeing the optimization of ticketing systems for issue resolution and implementing ongoing programs to address emerging issues.

  • Select, manage, and develop relationships with workplace services contractors and vendors to provide essential services such as lunch catering, snacks, and beverage machines, aiming to deliver an exceptional people experience.

  • Manage parking and commuter programs to ensure optimal utilization and adherence, alongside policies such as pet-friendly workplace initiatives.

  • Oversee day porters and cleaning crews to maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained workplace, developing programs to ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Act as a liaison between building management and Scopely, ensuring building maintenance and repairs are completed promptly.

  • Manage building access, surveillance, alarms, and security personnel to ensure the safety and security of our workplace.

  • Implement physical security standards, policies, procedures, and conduct training to protect Scopely’s people, assets, and reputation, adhering to all required codes and regulations, including emergency response, fire safety, and workplace safety standards.

  • Be responsible for creating purchase orders, forecasting costs, and tracking expenses against the site-specific operating budget, developing recommendations and implementation plans to drive cost efficiency and quality in workspace management.

  • Project manage cross-functionally with IT, Information Security, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to workplace and facilities management.

  • Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing team of Facilities Specialists and Coordinators across the EMEA & APAC regions, maximizing team potential through strategic hiring, training, and development.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in an operations leadership role, preferably facilities, building operations, and real estate project management with an emphasis on high tech startup facilities management.

  • Experience with a global, private company with 1,000+ employees or larger preferred.

  • Proven success with project execution, budget and cost savings, and other implementations.

  • Experienced people manager of three or more team members.

  • Strong ability to build relationships and partner with department heads, managers, and staff across the organisation.

  • Great attention to detail and the ability to work confidentially and instill confidence in those you are working with.

  • Flexible, self-motivated; able to deal calmly and professionally with ambiguous data while leading in an environment of constant change.

  • Demonstrated success in managing operations across diverse geographic regions, particularly in EMEA & APAC.

  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and fostering relationships with key stakeholders across various cultures and business practices.

  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and project management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • A commitment to fostering innovation, sustainability, and efficiency in workplace and facilities management.
