We are seeking a Senior Content Designer for a financial services client. In this role, you will craft engaging content, design customer journeys, and deliver smooth, secure user experiences. Partnering closely with product, design, research, and technology teams, you’ll create customer-focused solutions that educate and inspire consumer banking clients. From initial concepts to product launch and beyond, you’ll support project objectives and ensure timely delivery through well-defined content strategies.

This is a six-month project opportunity with the potential to extend and convert. This is a hybrid role located in Plano, TX working 3 days/week in the office and 2 days/week remotely.

Content Designer Responsibilities: 

  • Shape content design strategies and advocate for customers by partnering with Experience Design, Research, Product Management, and Engineering teams.
  • Lead ideation, prototyping, and iterative development to address customer challenges and deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Engage in customer research to gain insights into user needs and behaviors, working alongside Experience Researchers.
  • Integrate various data sources (research, analytics) to inform content strategies.
  • Develop content elements (e.g., UI language, product education) and manage content governance and approval processes.
  • Present your work and explain content strategy and decisions to leadership.
  • Contribute to content systems, including standards for voice, tone, messaging, and accessibility.

Content Designer Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s degree, bootcamp certification, or equivalent work experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to plan, structure, and execute tasks independently, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborative experience within design teams (Product Designers, UX Researchers, and Content Designers) and cross-functional work with Product Managers and Engineers.
  • Advanced UX Writing and Information Architecture skills; intermediate skills in User Research, Interaction Design, and Visual UI Design.
  • Proficiency in brand and copy standards, including voice, tone, and style.
  • Strong presentation skills for sharing work with cross-functional Directors.
  • Excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Strong advocate for Accessibility Guidelines and Inclusive Design.
  • Proven success in delivering digital products using user-centered design principles and data-driven impact measurement.
  • Familiarity with compliance processes, including legal and accessibility reviews.
  • Experience leveraging business and product strategies to drive successful design outcomes.

  • *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
