Job Summary-

KEY ACCOUNT- VISUAL DESIGN

  • Reporting directly to the Design Director, you will be responsible for working within the APAC Creative team to strategize creative plans and lead in bespoke original creative development for APAC key accounts.
  • Lead in creating story setting, themes, design direction boards based on key licensee business and Disney franchise strategies.
  • Drive creative development of inspirational topics and designs relevant to local key account potential business and categories.
  • Collaborate with Global Creative teams to provide global and APAC regional insight and creative solutions relevant to each local key partnership.
  • Drive creative asset development based on brand strategy to deliver timely, storytelling visual assets, in graphic designs, and 3D designs for key account products and experiences.
  • Define creative trends for each brand in partnership with Product Development teams.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years working experience in leading Visual Art Design, Visual Communication or Digital Multimedia projects.
  • Ability to deliver design directions within schedule and resources, which adhere to brand strategies and business goals.
  • Ability to work independently across various brands, styles and target consumer groups.
  • Ability to lead and guide junior and mid-level designers to polish their professional skills.
  • Ability to identify creative trends relevant for each brand and for strategic visual plans.
  • Strong working knowledge in visual design and cross-category market trends.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in the Design Management role.
  • Ability to work in a culturally and geographically diverse team.
  • Ability to communicate with external stakeholders especially key licensees and their teams.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and cross teams.

Contact Responsibility

INTERNAL: Interaction directly with Character Art team, Creative Design, Creative Operations, Creative Production for graphic design development collaboration; Interaction directly with Commercialization, Brand and Product Design team to output bespoke to key partners creative designs- considering cross teams reviews and aligned asset delivery milestones and timeline. Interaction directly with Global and APAC regional creative teams to ensure a brand consistent vision. Interact directly with all other corporate personnel as required.

EXTERNAL: Interaction with external APAC key licensees, their stakeholders and teams.  Interaction with external creative sources based on needs.
