Curriculum Developer

Kokotree is the #1 . We’re a new early childhood development platform and educational streaming service. We offer high-quality educational videos for toddlers and preschoolers. Kokotree’s mission is to help children become lifelong learners.

We’re hiring a Curriculum Developer. We’re looking for a driven, passionate, and professional educator with substantial experience in early child development curriculum development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development stages, experience developing and implementing curriculum, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young children.

Responsibilities

  • Developing Kokotree’s early childhood development curriculum for preschoolers through 2nd grade
  • Creating knowledge maps for concepts, principles, and skills needed for children to master topics
  • Sequencing objectives for all topics covered in Pre-k through second grade
  • Organizing and breaking down topics into lessons to be communicated through video and various digital technologies
  • Best practice approaches in teaching STEAM concepts, principles, information, skills, content, and pedagogy
  • Working closely with Script Writers, Creatives, Artists, Engineers, and producers in bringing our curriculum to life through videos and other interactive digital technology
  • Researching and staying up-to-date on best practices in early childhood development
  • Creating instructional materials and resources for educators and parents
  • Implementing curriculum in the Kokotree app and website

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years experience in early childhood development, curriculum development, or a related field
  • 5+ years of classroom teaching
  • 2 years of commercial curriculum development experience
  • Bachelors degree in education or related field
  • Preferred graduate degree in education or child psychology
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young children
