Summary

As a Data Analyst at G-P, you'll be integral to the Product Analytics team, focusing on the data and analytics of AI products. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions, optimizing product performance through analysis and A/B testing. Responsibilities include partnering with AI product teams to leverage data insights for roadmap prioritization and go-to-market strategies; monitoring key performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement; and working with UX/UI designers to enhance user experience. You'll also foster a data-driven culture by providing training and supporting data governance initiatives. The role requires expertise in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in product analytics or a related field.

About the position:

You will be part of the Product Analytics team responsible for overseeing the data and analytics of our AI products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to provide support of the AI product initiatives. 

 

What you’ll do: 

Drive Data-Driven Decision-Making:

  • Partner closely with AI product management, engineering, and operations teams to leverage data insights in product roadmap prioritization, feature development, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Perform analysis utilizing relevant tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python). Provide analytical thoughts through proactive and strategic contributions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.

Optimize Product Performance:

  • Partner with product leaders to provide early insights during product initiation, rollouts and beta programs.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Conduct analysis and opportunity sizing to find opportunities for improvement and turn the hypothesis into actionable and well-designed experiments (A/B Testing)
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to optimize user experiences and increase product adoption and retention.

Cultivate Data Culture:

  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning across the organization.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on data analytics tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Champion data governance and compliance initiatives to ensure ethical and responsible use of data.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in product analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles
  • Expertise in data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python/R, Tableau, Looker) and proficiency in data modeling and visualization.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams towards common goals.
  • The role will need to support US working hours (US Eastern Time or US Pacific Time).
