Job Description

This Data Analytics Internship in Tilburg, Netherlands, is a 6-month full-time role starting in January 2025. The intern will work on multiple data projects of departmental and global scale, transforming complex data into actionable insights using Python, SQL, Tableau, and Tesla's in-house tools. Responsibilities include developing reports, building predictive models, supporting management with data analysis, communicating with stakeholders, identifying supply chain optimization opportunities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with Python and SQL, and excellent communication skills. Experience with data visualization tools and knowledge of supply chain management are preferred.

For this role, it is essential that you can think strategically, connecting the dots in the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable with the details of the deliverables. You will be expected to simultaneously handle multiple data projects of department-level scale and global reach.

What You’ll Do

Transform complex data into actionable insights using Python
Manipulate and interpret large datasets to assess business impact and priorities while utilizing Tableau, SQL, and Tesla in-house reporting tools
Develop and implement intuitive reports that provide insights for business decision-making
Assist in building and fine-tuning predictive models, working with cross-functional teams to integrate these models into daily operations
Support management with dashboards, data pulls, and ad-hoc analysis
Communicate with stakeholders, gather business requirements, and brainstorm KPIs
Maintain clear and organized documentation of data sources, analysis methodologies, and results
Identify gaps in supply chain operations processes and areas for optimization and automation
Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Studies, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
Experience working with Python with a strong ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Experience working with SQL, and familiarity with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau)
Preferable: Knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing/Process Engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle unexpected challenges, maintaining a high level of productivity without compromising quality under pressure
Eagerness to collaborate cross-functionally with other business and engineering teams, while being able to work independently
Organized, detail-oriented, execution-focused, relentless, and willing to find cracks in the system to expose problems
