As an [ECHO team] Game Product Owner at Amanotes, you'll define and own the roadmap for key features in new hybrid casual music games. Responsibilities include writing user stories, managing backlogs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, shaping game vision and strategy, designing gameplay loops and monetization systems, mentoring junior team members, and using data to optimize features for retention and engagement. You'll also plan and execute LiveOps strategies, partnering with marketing for player acquisition and retention. The role requires strong product ownership skills, game development knowledge, data analysis capabilities, and collaboration with various teams.

ABOUT THE TEAM

    • Our New game division’s mission is to create new hit hybrid casual music games that make interacting with music fun and a part of everyone's daily life.
    • This division is responsible for coming up with ideas, developing new games through in-house game development or collaboration with partners, then publishing and continuously improving the marketability and product performance of the games until they meet the company benchmarks for transferring to operation phases.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Product Ownership:
    • Define and own the roadmap for key features or game areas, ensuring alignment with product goals.
    • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage the backlog to prioritize the highest-impact features.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure features are implemented on time and at a high quality.
    • Game Development & Strategy:
    • Work closely with the Product Lead to shape the overall game vision and strategy.
    • Contribute to designing innovative gameplay loops, hybrid monetization systems, and engagement mechanics.
    • Act as a mentor to Junior Product Owners and other team members, providing guidance and support.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Use analytics and player feedback to inform decisions and optimize features for retention, engagement, and monetization.
    • Collaborate with the analytics team to design and evaluate A/B tests for new features and updates.
    • Identify key metrics and set success criteria for features and updates.
    • LiveOps & Player Engagement:
    • Help plan and execute LiveOps strategies, including events, seasonal updates, and new content releases.
    • Partner with marketing teams to align player acquisition and retention initiatives with product goals.
