Job Role:
Reporting to Endpoint Tech Lead, the Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for planning, configuring and implementing the client's Endpoint standards for Microsoft and Apple laptops, desktops and mobile devices. The role will also be a point of technical escalation for the EUC team.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Endpoint Device Management:
    • Deploy, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, and other endpoint equipment.
    • Windows Autopilot , Apple Device enrollments.
    • Monitor the health and performance of endpoint devices and take proactive measures to resolve issues.
    • Security Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce security policies to protect endpoint devices from threats such as malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
    • Ensure that all endpoint devices are compliant with security standards and regulations.
    • Software Deployment and Updates:
    • Manage software installation, updates, and patch management for endpoint devices.
    • Deploy new software applications as required by end-users or the organization.
    • Endpoint Security Solutions:
    • Maintain and configure endpoint security solutions, such as antivirus, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems.
    • Endpoint Support:
    • Provide technical support to end-users for troubleshooting hardware and software issues on their devices.
    • Resolve endpoint-related incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
    • Endpoint Performance Optimization:
    • Identify and implement improvements to enhance endpoint performance, including hardware upgrades and optimization of software configurations.
    • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed documentation of endpoint configurations, policies, and procedures.
    • Generate reports on endpoint performance, security, and compliance.
    • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with IT teams, including network administrators, system administrators, and security teams, to ensure endpoint devices integrate seamlessly with the overall IT infrastructure.

Background:

    • 4+ years of understanding of Intune as an MDM platform, experience in the enrolment, management, and configuration of IOS, Android, Mac, and Windows devices.
    • Understanding of working with Azure AD Connect Synchronization, Hybrid Azure AD Join scenarios and configuration, Federated / Managed Domains, Password Hash Synchronization and Password Writeback.
    • Experience with change/release management process in an enterprise environment.
    • Experience with packaging and deployment, operating system standards and delivery, Microsoft Technology expertise, Third Party Management Products and Enterprise Security Suites.
    • Experience with group policy objects, device configuration profiles, and device compliance profiles.
    • Experience in configuration management and patch management.
    • Experience with PowerShell script
    • Experience with M365 service operations
    • Good understanding of Azure Active Directory including Privileged Identity Management, Azure AD Enterprise Applications, Excellent communication skills, highly-collaborative
