Summary

The GMA Production Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative needs of the Good Morning America program, working closely with all departments. Responsibilities include managing guest dressing room assignments, permit submissions, catering, hair & makeup scheduling, studio staff scheduling, supply ordering, music performance paperwork, and liaising with various departments (Security, IT, Payroll, Facilities). This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The position requires early morning hours and on-site work.

Job Summary:

The Production Coordinator works closely with all departments at Good Morning America to help manage the administrative needs for the program. Operations coordination for both GMA & GMA3.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the daily dressing room assignments for all guests, permit submission, catering, assisting with Hair & Make Up assignments and other studio staff scheduling as needed, ordering supplies, overseeing music performance paperwork, and liaison with Security, IT, payroll departments and Facilities.
  • Position works closely with the Production and Booking teams to help facilitate all aspects of greenroom management and arrival/departure of guests.
  • Strong administrative skills, extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects at once. Superb communication and interpersonal skills, ability to problem solve and work in a collaborative, fast paced environment.
  • Schedule requires early morning hours and will report on-site.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minium of one year experience working in Production, News or a similar environment.
  • Must be willing to work various shifts as needed including but not limited to early mornings, overnights, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work quickly and under continuous deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Theatre and/or Music industry background is preferred.
  • Experience with Concur and INews is a plus.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.


The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $52,400.00 to $74,800.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
