Job Description

The Google Cloud Platform team seeks a Field Sales Representative, Corporate, to expand market share through partners. This role involves building executive-level relationships, aligning cloud offerings with customer needs, and leading cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing complex sales cycles, often presenting to C-level executives. The ideal candidate will understand customer technology footprints, strategic plans, and business drivers. This position requires driving business development, accurate forecasting, and achieving strategic goals by guiding customers throughout the entire sales cycle. The role requires fluent English and Spanish communication.
Must have:
  • 7+ years of tech sales experience (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
  • C-level engagement and sales experience
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Partner and high account volume experience
  • Lead cross-functional teams

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of sales experience in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS or IaaS products and platforms.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.
  • Experience working with partners and high account volume.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently as this role requires regular interaction with clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with large, complex commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience promoting Google Cloud computing technologies to large and complex organizations across geographies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.
  • Ability to present analyses and break down technical concepts into simple terms to present to technical and non-technical audiences.

You will build executive-level relationships, and help align our cloud offerings and partners’ value proposition to customers’ needs. You will prospect, qualify, and lead a cross-functional team, while leveraging the right resources, including partner engineering, corporate business, and partner business to maximize outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen executive relationships with enterprise customers. Bring to Google your mature CxO relationships to help us grow into new organizations.
  • Discuss and manage end-to-end complex business cycles, often presenting to C-level executives in corporate customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy and external landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
