Job Description

The Finance Director (SSC) is responsible for the overall operation of the Shared Service Center (SSC), encompassing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and fixed assets. Key responsibilities include overseeing SSC policies, SLAs, and processes; managing manpower; ensuring smooth operations; reviewing contracts for compliance; prompt billing and collections; maintaining cash sustainability; implementing and adhering to group policies and internal controls; managing the annual budget; supporting stakeholders; supervising and guiding the team; and leading improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess an accounting or business degree/Chartered Accountant designation and at least 10 years of relevant experience in finance within a large SSC environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential.
Must have:
  • Overall responsibility for SSC operations (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets)

  • Team supervision and guidance

Responsibilities: 

  • Overall responsible for the Shared Service (SSC) operation – AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets

  • Responsible for SSC policy/SLA and processes, manpower planning and operations management to ensure smooth operation

  • Review contracts and ensure compliance and SOPs

  • Ensure prompt billing and collections and cash sustainability

  • Compliance control to group policies and internal controls are implemented and adhered to oversee and drive the annual budget

  • Support stakeholders to maintain quality service standards 

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the team

  • Support and lead improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Accounting or Business degree/Chartered Accountant

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience background in finance

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong leadership skill with positive mindset

  • Experience working in large SSC environment
