Finance Operations & FP&A Specialist

About the role

This is a newly created role for a Finance Operations & FP&A Specialist, combining key finance operations with financial planning and analysis responsibilities. It supports business growth through optimising financial processes, tools, accurate reporting, and insightful analysis.

Responsibilities

Finance Operations

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance team
• Optimize financial systems and tools to streamline finance operations
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial models, reports, and visual dashboards aligned with business needs
• Calculate and report on various bonus schemes
• Prepare consolidated financial statements
• Assist in maintaining banking relationships and respective KYC requirements
• Assisting with external audit processes and regulatory compliance requirements

• Handle additional finance-related tasks as assigned.

  Financial Planning & Analysis

• Maintain financial models and reports to support business planning
• Collaborate with other departments to prepare budgets and forecasts
• Analyse financial performance and provide insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent certification)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance operations, financial analysis, or related roles
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
• Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Microsoft Fabric is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams
