Front Desk- Part-Time, Disney's Vero Beach Resort

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Greet Guests proactively, exhibiting the high level expected of Disney show quality. ​

• Complete registration process by inputting and retrieving information from room’s computer system. ​

• Handle cash, foreign currencies, credit card transactions, traveler checks, and discounts; collect other forms of payment and balance cash bank​

• Answer telephone, input message into computer and post room charges and rebates.​

• Hands on use of fax machines, copiers, Federal Express mail machine, and printers.​

• Uphold the Guest Service Guidelines for Walt Disney World.​

• Assist and problem solve room-related issues for the guest.​

• Involvement with multiple guests and tasks simultaneously.​

• Luggage assistance including pushing luggage carts and to lift items up to 50 pounds​

• Will work outdoors as needed and stand in one spot for long periods of time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Positive Attitude- exhibit Professional and Personable demeanor​

• Knowledge of Walt Disney World Resort​

• Cash Handling experience​

• Ability to prioritize using good judgment​

• Courtesy and Manners​

• Strong problem solving and multitasking skills​

• Communication skills- speak clearly, articulate, and attentive- good eye contact​

• Read and write effectively in English​

• Computer knowledge and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a Guest Service role​

• Bilingual Skills

• FULL AVAILABILITY for any shift, a minimum of (7) seven days per week

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 7:00am while some may end as late as 12:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
