Job Description

The Game System Engineer will implement game production flows and game-specific systems within game development. This role coordinates production flow and communicates with engine developers, proposing and coordinating engine function additions. The ideal candidate understands game content, implements flows and systems, communicates effectively for game production, and has an interest in game production technology.

Job Details

Work Responsibilities

The Game System Engineer will implement game production flows and game-specific systems within game development. In addition, this role will coordinate the production flow in her/his project and will communicate with the engine developers.

  • Implementing game production flows and systems in the areas of game development for the project
  • Proposing and coordinating the addition of engine functions in game development of the project

Selection Process

Our candidate selection process is comprised of the following steps.

  • Interview process (Total of 2 to 4 interviews, including final interview)
  • Offer of employment
  • Post-offer discussion

Salary

Negotiable

Annual salary with payments on a monthly basis. Salary is determined based on the employee’s level of experience and ability, rather than age.

Work Location / Map

(Post-Employment Conditions) You will select your desired work location at the time of application. The work location will be determined through the selection process.

(Scope of Change) Head office and all branches, and the address reported in the information pledge for remote work.

Work Responsibilities

(Post-Employment Conditions) Game System Engineer duties and related tasks.

(Scope of Change) Duties as determined by the company.

Working Hours

Discretionary working system (deemed working hours 9.5 hours/day)

Working hours are basically from 9:30 to 18:00, and are left to individual discretion. (At least 60 minutes of break must be taken during work)

Allowances

A commuter allowance of 20,000 yen per month, included in regular pay.

Allowance for 40 hours of overtime, included in regular pay.

Extra payments are made for any overtime in excess of 40 hours, late-night work, and work on holidays.

Relocation stipends:

Employees moving from within Japan, but over 150 kilometers away from our Osaka or Tokyo office, are eligible for a relocation stipend of 300,000 yen.

Employees moving to Japan from outside the country are eligible for a relocation stipend of 500,000 yen.

Child allowance:

Employees with dependent children under 18 years of age are eligible for a stipend of 5,000 yen per child per month.

Holidays and Vacations

The following days are holidays for employees:

Saturdays and Sundays

Japanese national holidays

Company summer holidays

Year-end Holidays (from 12/29 to 1/4)

Company founding day (typically 2/2)

Leave:

Employees receive paid leave days; the amount received is contingent on when the employee joins the company, with a maximum of 10 days in the first year.

Bereavement leave and other special leave is available when employees need it.

There were 130 days off of work in 2023.
