We're looking for an experienced, motivated, and opinionated Product Design extraordinaire to lead our global team of UX designers. As the Head of Product Design, you’ll report to the VP of Product and manage a team of designers, define the vision and execute the user experience strategy, with the ultimate goal of improving the day-to-day of our users and, of course, delighting them.
You will be responsible for
Design strategy: working closely with senior leadership to understand the company’s goals and translate them into a design vision that is aligned with the needs of the end-users, as well as communicating the design strategy and priorities across the organization.
Design standards: responsible for developing and maintaining design standards that ensure consistency across all products and services. This includes defining the visual design language, interaction patterns, and usability guidelines.
Design execution: working closely with the product team to implement the design accordingly, and ensure the end product meets the desired user experience standards.
Team leadership: overseeing all aspects of its vision and execution, including structuring and optimizing the organization to achieve Fairmatic’s business strategy
You have:
A portfolio that illustrates functional and delightful experiences created both as an individual contributor and via teams you have led
5+ years as UX designer - must
3+ years managing designers - must
Great English skills
Experience leading successful consumer products at scale and proven track record of delivering impactful strategic work
Strong leadership and social skills, and a natural empathy for both the customer and your colleagues
Adept at quickly gaining a high-level understanding of issues, while also being able to deep dive into low-level details
Eagerness to accelerate team efficiency by improving processes and workflows
Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a weekExperience managing designers remotely on a global scale - an advantage
