The Head of Trading is responsible for leading the trading operations of FalconX Ltd. The tasks include:

• Lead and manage the trading operations relating to FalconX Ltd and its customers, and ensure that such trades are executed efficiently and effectively and in full adherence to the Company’s Execution Policy and Procedures.
• Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize performance and profitability, maximize returns and manage risks for FalconX Ltd.
• Ensure that all trading activity conducted through FalconX Ltd is in full compliance with the Company’s licence as well as Malta’s and EU’s regulatory obligations.
• Monitor market trends and make informed decisions to capitalize on opportunities.
• Oversee that any activities relating to trading, which are outsourced to third parties, including other group entities, are delivered according to the established agreements and in line with the established SLAs. The Head of Trading requests changes, monitors deployment, and assesses service quality of the trading operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee risk management processes to mitigate potential losses for FalconX Ltd.
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior traders and staff.
• Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
• reports for the Board of Directors, senior management, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Carry out any other tasks which are assigned to the Head of Trading on a regular basis.

Required Skills

The Company is committed to providing ongoing training through both on-the-job learning and traditional programme-based training. The incumbent is expected to have,

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Extensive experience in trading (10+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role), crypto trading preferably
• Proven expertise in equities and hedge fund operations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and accounting principles.
• Direct experience in the crypto industry with at least 1 year at a crypto prime brokerage firm - deep knowledge of different types of cryptocurrencies, the underlying technology, and the regulatory landscape
