INTERNSHIPS AT GUERRILLA

At Guerrilla we're a passionate team of creators, storytellers, and innovators who thrive on breaking boundaries and creating adventures that captivate players. As an intern at Guerrilla, you will immerse yourself in the world of game development. From collaborating with industry leaders to working on cutting-edge projects, you'll gain hands-on experience in various aspects of game creation.

OUR HR TEAM

Our HR team at Guerrilla consists of 5 members; an EMEA HR director, HR manager, HR business partner and two HR generalists. We support almost 300 employees who all work in our studio based in Amsterdam. We also collaborate with PlayStation studios for EMEA/worldwide projects and support for our HR system Workday. 

As an intern, you will work closely with the HR generalists and support them with the full HR cycle and first line support for our employees.

WHO YOU ARE

In order to qualify for this internship at Guerrilla, you must be:

  • Available for an Internship during the first half of 2025
  • Currently enrolled in a Dutch school within a relevant field of study
  • Able to work on-site in our Amsterdam studio
  • Fluent in Dutch and proficient in professional English

Additionally, we'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Are passionate about people and excited to learn HR in a creative environment.
  • Are comfortable with office tools like Excel and eager to pick up new HR systems and processes.
  • Are proactive, collaborative, and ready to contribute ideas that enhance employee engagement and the game studio culture.
  • Can think outside of the box and help the HR team with new ideas to support our game developers in a way that fits them the best.

About The Company

As one of Europe's leading game development studios, Guerrilla has continually pushed the boundaries of technical and artistic excellence since its inception in 2003. Today, the studio employs 400 professionals from 25 different nationalities. Guerrilla’s state-of-the-art offices are located in the cultural and historical heart of Amsterdam, The Netherlands — a great place to work and play.


Guerrilla was founded as the result of a merger between three smaller Dutch studios: Lost Boys Games, Orange Games and Digital Infinity. In 2005, it was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment after the release of Killzone on PlayStation 2. In the decade that followed, Guerrilla expanded Killzone into a successful franchise with a handheld spin-off and three sequels.


Guerrilla's next title, released for PlayStation 4 in 2017 and for PC in 2020, is the critically and popularly acclaimed open world action-RPG Horizon Zero Dawn. The studio released its sequel Horizon Forbidden West in February 2022, with the Burning Shores expansion in 2023. This year, Guerrilla also released the PSVR2 title, Horizon Call of the Mountain.
