Buro Happold is seeking a Graduate Security Engineer with 2 years of experience in ELV/ICT or MTech in Electronics/ICT or Electrical Engineering to join their Mumbai team. You'll work on detailed engineering design, create security engineering designs and calculations, and collaborate with colleagues globally. Must-haves: BE/MTech, ELV/ICT or MTech (Electronics/ICT), Microsoft Office, and experience using common analysis software.

Your next role

  • Undertake detailed engineering design.
  • Learning to create Security engineering designs and calculations (using both software and gained knowledge to verify calculations).
  • Developing skill to create compelling narratives around your work to explain to non-technical people your ideas.
  • Working and learning from Colleagues both Locally and Globally. This will provide opportunities to work with on international projects, collaborating with security specialist designers with extensive industry experience.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work and cooperate effectively with others.
  • Using and collaborating with BIM software, developing new approaches and innovative solutions


Your Skills And Experience

  • BE with 2 years’ experience in ELV/ICT or MTech (Electronics/ICT) of Electrical engineering.
  • Ability to accept a degree of responsibility in a team-based organisation, combined with ability to work independently.
  • Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (a detailed understanding including the use of macros).
  • Experience using common analysis software (including or similar to CSC Fastrak, TEDDS, ROBOT, ETABS and SAFE) and willingness to quickly learn to use these analysis packages if required.
  • The applicant will need to have strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to propose multiple solutions to Clients and objectively summarise the benefits and shortfalls of each.
