Job Summary
Job Description
The Buyer/Planner will manage planning activities to ensure adequate supply for the production line and pull systems. Responsibilities include creating purchase orders, coordinating customer orders with customer service, and utilizing NBS Next tools for on-time delivery. The role requires excellent organizational and time management skills, analytical abilities, and effective communication. The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in supply chain or planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Must have:
- Manage planning activities to ensure adequate supply for production.
- Create purchase orders with suppliers and intercompany orders.
- Coordinate customer orders with customer service.
- Utilize NBS Next tools for on-time delivery.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Good to have:
- Manufacturing work experience.
- ERP experience.

Job Details
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage planning activities to assure the production line and pull systems have adequate supply.
- Create purchase orders with local suppliers and intercompany STO orders with Nordson locations.
- Coordinate customer orders with customer service and align pull system / production output meets or exceeds customer request dates.
- Utilize NBS Next tools to drive for leadership level on-time delivery
Education and Experience
- Associates or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business and/or relevant work experience.
- 3 years in a supply chain or planning role; manufacturing environment preferred.
- ERP experience highly desired
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent organizational, time management and data entry skills
- Manufacturing work experience preferred.
- Analytical skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
