About the Role

We are looking to recruit an HR Manager based in Malta to oversee and manage all aspects of our human resources operations. This role is key in driving a positive employee experience, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the development and success of our teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation. Responsibilities

• Manage HR activities for both Malta and UK employees.
• Manage the office administration team to ensure efficient operations and a positive work environment.
• Develop, update, and implement company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the recruitment process, coordinating with outsourced recruiters.
• Ensure smooth onboarding for new hires and seamless offboarding for departing employees.
• Handle work permits and immigration processes for international hires.
• Develop strategies for employee engagement, growth, and retention.
• Support the performance review cycle where necessary.
• Collaborate with managers to identify professional development or improvement opportunities.
• Manage employee benefits, liaising with suppliers to ensure accurate information.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, and performance documentation.
• Oversee payroll processes for both UK and Malta employees.
• Ensure compliance with Maltese and UK employment laws.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar HR role.
• Strong knowledge of both Malta and UK employment laws would be an advantage.
• Proven HR generalist experience, including full recruitment lifecycle management.
• Experience with HR systems such as BambooHR.

• Ability to collaborate across functions and teams.
• Proficient in day-to-day tools such as document writing tools (Google Slides, Sheets, Docs) and business communication tools (Slack, Teams, Google Hangouts).
