Job Description

The International Payroll Analyst will be responsible for administering and processing multi-country payroll, primarily focusing on US payroll. This role requires ensuring accurate and timely payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements. Key responsibilities include staying updated on US and international payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements; preparing and submitting payroll-related tax filings and compliance reports; maintaining and updating payroll systems and records; collaborating with HR, Finance, and external vendors; resolving payroll inquiries; and identifying areas for process improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of US payroll experience with international exposure. Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday) and strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

  • Administer and process multi-country payroll with a primary focus on US payroll.

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Stay updated on US and international payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings, compliance reports, and audits.

System Management:

  • Maintain and update payroll systems and records.

  • Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot system issues and implement improvements.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations.

  • Resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and management promptly.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvement and standardization across international payroll functions.

  • Participate in payroll-related projects and system implementations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience focusing on US payroll and international payroll exposure.

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of US payroll regulations (FLSA, IRS guidelines, multi-state tax compliance).

  • Familiarity with global payroll systems and international tax regulations.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday) and Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
