DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP using best practices and industry standards
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for efficient and scalable deployments
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve software delivery processes
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and performance of systems
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs while maintaining system reliability and performance
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production issues
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the DevOps best practices

Requirements

• 5-6 years of experience in DevOps or related field
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and best practices
• Proficiency in writing and managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager & Ansible
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for multi-cloud environments
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
