Job Description

Luma LA seeks an experienced mid-senior Linux Systems Administrator with a blend of traditional sysadmin, DevOps, and cloud workflows. The role requires comfort with physical hardware and proven software automation skills (configuration management, CI/CD). While remote (WFH) based in Los Angeles, the position involves on-site collaboration for onboarding/offboarding. A valid driver's license and ability to travel to downtown Los Angeles are necessary. Candidates must reside in Los Angeles and be eligible to work in the US. Responsibilities include implementing highly available, scalable, and self-healing systems; architecting technical projects from design to implementation; and strengthening/automating technology within a Linux environment.

Must have:

7+ years IT experience
Enterprise Linux support
Excellent communication
Automation expertise (CI/CD)
Hardware and cloud experience
Located in Los Angeles, US work authorization

Job Details

Luma LA is looking for an experienced mid-senior Linux Systems Administrator. Your experience should include a mix of traditional Systems Administration, DevOps and Cloud based workflows. You should be comfortable working with physical hardware, and also have a clear track record of software automation, via configuration management and continuous integration/deployment.

PLEASE NOTE:

Whilst the position is remote (WFH) based in Los Angeles. There will be a need for this role to liaise with our staff in onboarding and offboarding.

Drivers licenses and ability to travel to downtown Los Angeles.

Candidates must currently be located in Los Angeles and have the rights to work in US.

You Can

Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing
Architect technical projects from designing, testing and implementing solutions to help strengthen and automate technology in a Linux environment

You Have

7+ years experience in IT
Experience supporting an enterprise linux environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A drive to continually learn and expand your technical knowledge
