Job Description

Maintenance Technicians at Trek will perform preventative maintenance, address internal customer work orders, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment/building failures. They'll improve production and facilities equipment efficiency. Responsibilities include general building and grounds repair, supporting preventative maintenance programs, understanding mechanical drawings, effective communication, adhering to safety protocols, maintaining high quality standards, and assisting with other facility needs. The role requires physical ability (standing, lifting, bending) and knowledge of building construction, metal fabrication, and basic electrical systems. HVAC experience is a plus.

Job Description

Position Description
Maintenance Technicians will work independently and with other team members to perform preventative maintenance tasks and internal customer work orders. Will identify/troubleshoot issues, repair failures and look to improve production and facilities equipment along with building repair, to ensure maximum equipment/building efficiency and effectiveness.

2nd Shift Hours- 1pm-9pm


Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Perform general building, facilities, and grounds repair, basic maintenance.
  • Perform and support Preventative Maintenance programs,  for all facility and production equipment.
  • Ability to understand mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Communicate effectively with all co-workers and internal customers.
  • Follow all safety protocols.
  • Maintain high quality and efficiency standards.
  • Assist in other facility and production maintenance needs.
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend and stoop.

Education/Experience

  • Knowledge of building construction - steel/wood construction.
  • Familiar with metal fabrication, sheet metal skills and tools,  welding experience a plus.
  • Drywall Repair and Painting.
  • Provide excellent customer service from start to finish.
  • Basic understanding of 120/208/480 single and 3 phase electrical systems.
  • Experience with HVAC systems would be a plus.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must possess a valid WI Driver License.
