Job Description

As a Product Manager for Cloud Storage Security and Governance at Google, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the security and privacy landscape for Google Cloud Storage (GCS). You will work cross-functionally with engineering, other product teams, and stakeholders to drive the strategy, ideation, and execution of security and governance capabilities for GCS. You will define product requirements, guide feature development, and ensure successful launches. You will also be responsible for promoting adoption and business growth by collaborating with cross-product teams, account teams, and solution teams. This role presents a unique opportunity to build products that address the data protection and privacy needs of customers across the globe, contributing to Google Cloud's mission of accelerating digital transformation and empowering organizations with cutting-edge technology.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in product management or related technical role
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch
2 years of experience in product management and in data storage
Drive strategy, idea, and execution of security and governance capabilities
Define product requirements for new features and releases
Drive feature/release life-cycle working with engineering, other product areas (e.g., Cloud Security) and other stakeholders

Good to have:

Experience building and launching new products in data privacy
Experience building and launching new products in data protection
Experience with product development in systems
Accelerate adoption and business growth by partnering with cross-product area teams, account teams, and solution teams
Understand the challenges and opportunities associated with building a service for the scale of the team

Minimum qualifications:
