The Product Marketing Lead (AML) will manage product marketing for the AML portfolio. This role requires connecting product strategy with sales and marketing to launch new products and drive growth. The candidate will develop compelling messaging, buyer personas, and go-to-market strategies. Key responsibilities include product marketing excellence, messaging and positioning, buyer personas development, creating go-to-market strategies, and managing strategic partnerships. The candidate will also be responsible for project management, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Job Details

Nasdaq Verafin seeks a Product Marketing Lead to manage product marketing for our AML portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product marketing, this role connects product strategy with sales and marketing, to launch new products and drive growth. 
 
With industry knowledge and competitive insight, you will be a key contributor to how we position and differentiate our products in the market and directly contribute to marketing and sales success.  
 
You'll work closely with your product marketing peers, market managers, sales and other marketing functions to support the creation of go-to-market strategies, impactful messaging, and provide feedback to the product marketing and marketing teams 

 
What You'll Do: 

  • Product Marketing Excellence: Be an expert on our markets, competitors, and buyer needs to enable our marketing and success. 
  • Messaging & Positioning: Develop compelling, differentiated product messaging and positioning. 
  • Buyer Personas: Develop and educate internal teams on our customer personas, the value propositions for each, and create compelling messaging that will address their needs. 
  • Go-To-Market: Create go-to-market strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly the Product Managers, Marketing Managers, the Communications team, Growth Marketing, and Sales to power compelling, high-performing marketing campaigns that contribute to increased sales pipeline and customer acquisition. 
  • Strategic Partnerships: Manage product-marketing centric partnerships and relationships with key industry and technology organizations. 
  • Project Management: Lead and report on your programs and initiatives. Define your project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables and track results against the plan. Coordinate resources, manage dependencies, and ensure successful project execution. 

 

What We're Looking For: 

  • Required: Experience in the banking industry, working in or marketing to financial institutions  
  • Preferred: Experience in marketing anti-financial crime products and services, particularly relevant experience in the AML category 
  • Have 5-10 years B2B or Banking marketing experience and proven success in launching new products 
  • Excellent writing skills for creating content and collateral (including fact sheets, case studies, etc.). 
  • Successful track record of working in a collaborative, cross-functional team. 
  • Creativity with out-of-the box thinking and an interest in trying and learning new things. 
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and accountable with a positive “can do” attitude.

  • You have developed a deep understanding of the banking industry, institutions and markets, including key competitors and buyer needs.  
  • Your messaging, personas, and profiles have enabled successful targeted sales and marketing leading to more productive engagements and marketing success. 
  • Your go to market strategies have resulted in increased lead generation and customer acquisition. 
  • We have increased brand and product awareness within influencer partners leading to effective and targeted awareness withing our target customer segments. 
  • Projects completed on schedule and tracked against your metrics for success.
