Responsibilities include leading a team of automation engineers, designing and developing multi-layer automated tests (functional, UI, performance), collaborating with development teams, and driving the adoption of best practices. The ideal candidate possesses strong people management skills, extensive experience in test automation, solid coding skills (Python preferred), and experience managing large-scale projects.

We are seeking an experienced, talented and motivated QA automation manager to run a team developing a multi-layer portfolio of automated tests and configuration validations supporting the work of over 150 Moon Active game developers, content creators and Operations engineers building engaging and delightful experiences for millions of users.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of automation engineers responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a multi-layer portfolio of automated tests inc. functional testing, UI testing, performance automation, and configuration verifications, as well as the technical stack for executing, monitoring and troubleshooting these tests.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across our development teams, and partner with internal customers across multiple departments, to deliver stable, efficient and maintainable test portfolios that provide high coverage to complex business needs.
  • Hire, develop and manage a team, focusing on both people and tech management perspectives, with a strong focus on fostering professional growth and technical excellence among team members.
  • Drive the adoption of rigorous performance standards, processes and best practices in the team throughout the development lifecycle, with a strong commitment to timely delivery and quality.

Requirements

  • Strong people management skills and 3+ years of experience as a manager
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining diverse forms of test automation and managing large-scale portfolios of automated tests, inc. UI / end-to-end tests
  • Deep understanding of methodology and commitment to best practices for automated testing, including AI-assisted test development
  • Solid coding skills (preferably, in Python)
  • Experience leading complex multi-quarter projects to their successful completion
  • Proactive, with a “can do” attitude. Willingness to experiment, take risks, and inspire the team to action
  • Strong problem-solving and learning skills
  • Easy to work with, a great team player, with outstanding written and oral communication skills in English

Gross salary 6,300 - 8,000 EUR/month. We are open to discuss a salary based on your competencies and skills.
