AGS is seeking a QA Engineer to join their North Ryde, Sydney studio. Must have:
  • 2+ years in slot game testing
  • Class III slot game testing experience
  • Understanding of game functionality

  • GLI regulatory knowledge
Good to have:
  • Experience with CI environments (Bamboo/Jenkins)
  • Linux OS, Unity, and XML knowledge
  • OO programming (C#, C++)
  • TestRail/Zephyr experience

The Company

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our North Ryde Studio and make sure our product quality continues to shine.  If you are a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities of working in a multidiscipline creative environment and slot game testing experience, then we love to meet you. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Examine and analyze the game testing requirement and identify the different test cases.
  • Execute tests according to a test plan, perform functional testing and regression testing.
  • Working closely with game developers in debugging and reproducing difficult edge cases and field issues.
  • Demonstrate complete ownership of the project from Kickoff to hand off.
  • Execute manual ad hoc scenarios as well as Integration testing
  • Consistently perform to high standards of accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
  • Self-accountable and accepts consequences of his/her actions. Demonstrates unquestionable integrity in their daily duties.
  
Skills/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Must have 2+ experience in game testing with a slot game manufacturer.
  • Must have experience of testing different type of Class III slot games.
  • Experience in understanding of game functionality and platform functionality.
  • Experience of gaming machine communication protocols (e.g., SAS).
  • Good knowledge of GLI regulatory requirements.
  • Hands on with CI environments such as Bamboo or Jenkins.
  • Experience or good knowledge of Linux OS, Unity and XML.
  • Good knowledge of OO programming languages (e.g C#, C++).
  • Hands on experience of testing methodologies, iterative development.
  • Hands on experience in documenting test plans & test cases in Test Rail, Zephyr Jira or Zephyr Scale.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and out-of-the-box thinking abilities.
  • Experience in using bug or issue reporting tools and version control software.
  • A good team player - a passion to help your team members and to work with them for the greater good.
  • Good communication skills, ability to clearly communicate with the stakeholder and an eye for detail.
