Job Description

The Risk and Compliance Analyst will design and implement a systemic risk program, including governance and oversight practices. They will support and lead program management for risk assessments across multiple geographies and regulations, executing and scaling these assessments across global products and functions. The role requires establishing leadership with a global mindset. Responsibilities include developing and implementing risk management strategies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. A strong focus on problem-solving, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in compliance/risk management
  • 3+ years in program/project management
  • 3+ years in Risk Management Compliance & Assessments
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
Good to have:
  • Experience organizing data and applying business context
  • Experience managing complex projects
  • Experience with technical risk management

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, investigation, auditing, legal, or consulting.
  • 3 years of experience in program/project management.
  • 3 years of experience in Risk Management Compliance and Risk Assessments.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience organizing data and applying business context to improve processes or operations.
  • Experience managing complex projects including communicating progress, status, and escalations.
  • Experience with technical risk management (e.g., risk and control assessments, risk measurement).
  • Excellent attention to detail with problem-solving approach, and experience developing systematic structure within a complex environment.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

The Platform Risk team leads the provisioning of comprehensive, scalable, and ad-hoc compliance risk management strategies and services which equip Google with risk-based approaches to protect user safety and preserve public trust in Google.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$187,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
