The Sales & Service Associate plays a key role in driving revenue and enhancing the client experience within our Tennis events and hospitality space. This role is primarily responsible for proactively selling travel and hospitality packages to individuals and groups attending tennis events. With a strong focus on building relationships, converting inquiries into sales, and delivering personalized service, this associate ensures every customer journey begins with excellence.
This is a 60/40 role, with approximately 60% focused on sales and 40% on customer service and support.
Sales
Execute the sale of innovative products that meet the needs of partners and clients; identify further sales and service opportunities to upsell VIP/upscale packages
Proactively engage with inbound leads and potential customers to sell travel and hospitality packages for tennis events.
Effectively promote products and services to meet customer needs and exceed sales targets.
Follow up with warm leads and past clients to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.
Build rapport with clients to understand preferences, provide tailored solutions, and close sales.
Understand and achieve profitability goals as it relates to product fulfillment and tennis event packages
Gain an understanding of TPS to build and manage package/product offerings, rooming lists, hotel vouchers, ticketing, special requests, etc.
Customer Service & Support
Assist travelers in planning and executing their event travel based on their itinerary.
Handle inbound inquiries via phone and email to support existing customers—answering questions, resolving issues, and providing detailed information.
Investigate and resolve specific issues related to clientele; identify and escalate priority issues; and route calls/issues to the appropriate resource
Deliver a customer-first experience that reflects the standards and service values of the CA office.
Other general administrative duties (e.g., filing, data entry, etc.) as assigned
You Have These
G.E.D. or high school diploma
Experience in a customer service position (minimum of 3+ years) preferably in sports and/or travel and hospitality industry
Strong organizational, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills
Attention to detail and accurate data entry and typing skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills – a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong oral, written, and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task within a high-pressure environment;
A proven record of accomplishment of strong personal effectiveness in which imaginative and distinctive service have been demonstrated
Continually strive for self-development and discovering better means of accomplishing both personal and professional goals
We’d Love If You Also Have These:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management, Business or a related field strongly preferred
Experience with TPS a plus
Knowledge of Tennis Events, Events Operations, and Travel & Hospitality
Must be empathic to customers’ needs
Travel: Additional hours, some weekends, and availability to travel for work during holidays is required during peak events times.
