Job Description

Luxoft seeks a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support and transform mission-critical websites and applications. Responsibilities include working across all phases of the SDLC, collaborating with IT, business, and third-party suppliers in a 24x7 Agile environment. The role involves implementing cutting-edge software, utilizing critical thinking and technical skills to solve scale problems, and working with open-source technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS Fargate, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, etc.), Docker, Fluent Bit/FluentD, Terraform, and monitoring tools like DataDog.

Must have:

5+ years AWS DevOps experience
2-3 years ECS Fargate/AWS Fargate, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, GitHub, Git Actions experience
Terraform experience
Teamcity, Jfrog, Gitlab experience
CloudFormation scripting for automation
Dockerizing applications, Dockerfiles, Docker image creation, Docker container configuration
Fluent Bit & FluentD experience
5 years DevOps experience in Build and Release Management
DataDog monitoring and latency issue resolution
AWS EC2, ECS, S3, ELB, IAM, VPC, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch, OpenSearch knowledge

Project description

We're seeking a solid and creative AWS Cloud DevOps eager to solve scale problems and work on cutting-edge and open-source technologies. In this project, you will have the opportunity to write code that will impact thousands of users every month. You'll implement your critical thinking and technical skills to develop cutting-edge software, and you'll have the opportunity to interact with teams across disciplines. In this project, you will be a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division.

Responsibilities

This position supports and transforms existing and new mission-critical and highly visible operational website(s) and applications

spanning multiple technology stacks

through all phases of SDLC, while working collaboratively across IT, business, and third-party suppliers from around the globe in a 24x7, fast-paced, and Agile based environment.

Skills

Must have

Hands-on 5 + years of experience in AWS DevOps.

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience on ECS fargate / AWS fargate, Cloudformation, DynamodDB, GitHub and GitActions.

Experience working with Terraform.

Experience in working on tools like Teamcity, Jfrog, and Gitlab.

Knowledge of Cloud formation scripts for automation purposes.

Good Experience in Dockerizing the Applications, in Docker files, Creating Docker images, and configuring the Docker Containers.

Experience in working on Fluent bit & FluentD.

5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with technical expertise in Build and Release Management.

Experience in Monitoring the DataDog and checking the latency issues if any.

Good knowledge of AWS Services like EC2, ECS, S3, ELB, IAM, VPC, Auto scaling, CloudWatch, OpenSearch.
