Responsibilities:
Adoption of ESG frameworks and standards to transformation of public sector organisations.
Cooperation with donors, regulatory bodies, subject matter experts and other relevant parties.
Develop and implement ESG initiatives within public sector.
Develop approaches for measurement and reporting of ESG performance, including use of data analytics solutions.
Due diligence and other verifications related to ESG issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sustainability, legal, consulting to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in ESG area or corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Prior, relevant 2+ years’ experience in public sector.
Acumen in identifying and acting on market opportunities.
Understanding of any of the ESG frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and SDGs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Relevant ESG certifications would be a plus.
