Outfit7 is seeking a Senior Game Developer (C++) to plan and implement game features and components for live mobile games using their in-house Starlite game engine. Responsibilities include maintaining and improving game code, libraries, and tools; collaborating with a multidisciplinary team; and learning new technologies. The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of professional experience in game development, an excellent technical background (game engine architecture, graphics pipeline, and performance optimization), and proficiency in C++. Experience with the Unity game engine is a plus. The position is based in Ljubljana (Slovenia) or Limassol (Cyprus), with relocation assistance provided. A hybrid work model is offered, along with various perks and benefits.

Job Details
In this role you will
- Plan and implement game features and components for live mobile games using our in-house Starlite game engine written in C++.
- Maintain and improve game code, libraries and tools for artists and designers.
- Collaborate, communicate, and work efficiently as part of the multidisciplinary team, and across various other internal departments and the Starlite engine team.

What we’re looking for
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in the English language (both written and spoken).
- Positive, make-it-happen, lead-by-example attitude.
- Proactive working style, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and short production pipeline life-cycles.
- Keen to learn new technologies and gain new skills.
Your experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in game development.
- Excellent technical background (emphasis is on game engine architecture, graphics pipeline and performance optimisation).
- Proficient in C++ programming.
- Experience with with Unity game engine is a plus
