As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and delivery of work for media planning, activation, and campaign management, with a special focus on Sponsored Product Ads (SPA). You will develop client business knowledge and ensure media requirements are met. You will provide guidance and coaching to your team on SPA, working cross-functionally to support objectives. The role involves forecasting, planning, and strategy for the retail media network, along with overseeing the SPA workload. You'll maintain understanding of client goals, stay up to date with the media marketplace, build relationships, and ensure process accuracy. The Senior Manager will also lead team member interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in digital media planning, activation or campaign management
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in SPA buying platforms
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in programmatic DSPs and paid social platforms
  • Experience working within OMS platforms and workflow management systems
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment
  • Shopper, CPG or Retail Media Network experience
  • Experience managing a team

Job Description: This is a remote opportunity, open to anyone in the US.
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible overseeing the strategy and delivery of work for the media planning, activation, and campaign management featuring multiple tactics with a special focus on Sponsored Product Ads (or “SPA”) Media channel. You will develop and maintain knowledge of client businesses and ensure all client media requirements are completed promptly. You will align the right resources to meet our client needs and you will provide coaching and guidance to your direct reports and team on SPA. You will work cross functionally with all teams to support and deliver against media, client, and company objectives. You will report to the Associate Director of Media.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the forecasting, media planning, and executional strategy for the retail media network.
  • Oversee the Sponsored Product Ads workload including distribution of work and staffing across pods, capacity planning, and communicating staffing needs to senior management.
  • Provide ongoing support to your team through regular feedback and weekly one-on-ones.
  • Maintain an understanding of client goals and marketing objectives and translate them into digital strategies.
  • Remain up to date with the media marketplace and opportunities for our clients.
  • Build internal/external client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Promote alignment across internal and client teams for establishing processes, ways of working, and cross-functional roles and responsibilities.
  • Identify challenges and process-related roadblocks, and overcome internally and with client
  • Ensure that process documents are accurate and are kept current.
  • Act as an escalation point on planning and activation best practices, process, and campaign troubleshooting on SPA
  • Lead interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching of new team members.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in digital media planning, activation and/or campaign management
  • 2+ years of hands-on key experience in a Sponsored Product Ad buying platform required (Criteo, Kevel, Moloco, Amazon)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in programmatic DSPs (DV360, TTD, YouTube) and paid social platforms (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok) · Pentaleap (or other retail media platform) experience
  • Experience working within OMS platforms (Salesforce Media Cloud, Placements.IO, Advendio) and workflow management systems (JIRA, Workfront, Monday)
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with changing workflows and priorities
  • Shopper, CPG or Retail Media Network experience
  • Experience managing a team
The annual salary range for this position is $68,000 -$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
