About GameChanger:

We believe in the life-changing impact youth sports have on and off the field because they encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence—important life lessons that have the power to propel our youth toward meaningful futures. We recognize that without coaches, parents, and volunteers, organized youth sports could not exist. By building the first and best place to experience the youth sports moments important to our community, we are helping families elevate the next generation through youth sports.

So if you love sports and their community-building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote-first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today.

The Position:

GameChanger is a product-driven business where your decisions and contributions will impact millions of youth athletes, coaches, and their fans. As a Senior Product Manager for the Trust & Safety team, you will be critical in defining what “Trust and Safety” means at GameChanger, shaping the team, and influence the business to ensure the user safety and community well-being of our families, players and coaches. This role reports to the Director of Product Management.

  • Product development: Own end-to-end 0-1 product development, from ideation through launch and support, working closely with your engineering, design, and customer experience counterparts to deliver new products and product enhancements.

  • Metrics and analytics: Define and track key performance indicators related to Trust & Safety broadly as well as product features and processes; iterate on product experiences based on data-driven insights to measure product performance and guide future work.

  • Policy Development: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to develop and implement policies that support user safety while ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Launch fast and iterate often

Who You Are:

  • 4+ years experience in product managing software technology products, with a focus on trust & safety products.

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing large scale projects with a track record of building relationships, influencing, and inspiring all levels of the organization.

  • Solid understanding of the trust & safety space and a knowledge of what makes for a best in class experience informed by user needs.

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, including written, verbal, and numeric communication. You should have the ability to communicate complex technical ideas and to engineering and non-engineer audiences.

  • Must possess strong SQL skills and be comfortable with self-service data analysis to support decision-making in a product context.

  • Demonstrated strong business judgment, with the ability to consider and communicate tradeoffs between company needs and the needs of users.

  • You have proven experience working with compliance and legal teams

Perks:

  • Work remotely throughout the US* or from our well-furnished, modern office in Manhattan, NY.

  • Unlimited vacation policy.

  • Paid volunteer opportunities.

  • WFH stipend - $500 annually to make your WFH situation comfortable.

  • Snack stipend - $60 monthly to have snacks shipped to your home office.
