Job Description

Senior QA Engineer needed for Playrix's game framework and modules. 3+ years of experience testing game frameworks or complex technical systems required. Strong knowledge of test design and experience developing test scripts. Ability to lead a feature through the entire SDLC (software development lifecycle) and product-oriented thinking are essential.

Team, about the role

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join a team that is working on a new Playrix technical product: the game framework and modules we use as the foundation for creating our mobile gaming masterpieces.

A QA Engineer must actively participate in the entire product life cycle, from forming functional requirements and preparing test scripts to their subsequent automation.

Tasks

Participating in testing a complex product — the game framework and related cross-project modules based on the Unity-like Playrix game engine;
Creating and updating test documentation in your area of responsibility;
Participating in improving product quality and testing automation processes;
Conducting test analysis of new features;
Creating test cases using various test design techniques;
Developing test models;
Interacting with the development team and game projects.

Requirements

3+ years of experience testing game frameworks or complex technical systems;
Considerable knowledge of test design and experience developing test scripts;
Ability to lead a feature through the entire SDLC (software development lifecycle) Product-oriented thinking and approach;
Experience working with CI tools (TeamCity, Jenkins);
Experience working in Agile teams.

Preferred

Profiling experience with Tracy or Perfetto;
Knowledge of the basic principles of graphics engine functionality;
Knowledge of programming basics or experience in white box testing;
Understanding and ability to analyze basic metrics (FPS, TPF, allocation count, etc.).
