About the Role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product. You will also get the opportunity to work with leading healthcare providers, medical institutions, and regulatory experts to be involved in all stages of the product development life-cycle.

What will you do?

• Understand the company’s goals and the product strategy and collaborate with test engineers to deliver a high quality product.
• Work closely with internal and external teams (Product Team, Strategy Team, AI Research Team, Clinical Data Engineering Team) to develop scalable and high quality technology solutions.
• Provide feedback on code written by SDETs and test automation engineers.
• Train QA engineers on functional and non-functional testing strategies, frameworks, and test automation suites.
• Define software test planning, test case design, test automation, and debugging on both the frontend and backend.
• Take charge of engineering prioritization, resource allocation, and sprint planning, and proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks.
• Set up and define processes for the QA Team including but not limited to test env setup, release management, regression test suite, sanity and smoke test suite of backend, Web, Android/IOS, continuous integration & deployment, etc.
• Oversee the configuration, execution, and monitoring of cloud and DevOps environments relevant to test automation and project requirements.
• Oversee testing processes, results, defect analysis, and improvement opportunities to enhance QA effectiveness.
• Track QA metrics, generate reports, and deliver presentations to stakeholders.

Who are we looking for?

• An engineering degree B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MS in any stream
• Computer Science is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the field.
• 1- 2 years of experience in technical team management.
• Strong understanding and practical experience on SDLC and STLC processes.
• You can quickly earn credibility with talented engineers and inspire them with a compelling long-term vision.
• You have a proven track record in coaching, mentoring, and retaining top technical talent.
• You have strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience in startup environments along the software and product development life cycles is a plus
• You have previous work experience in the healthcare industry.
• You have experience working with Cypress, Python, or JavaScript/Typescript, PostgreSQL
• You have a thorough understanding and knowledge in:
• Test automation design patterns
• CI/CD
• Cloud (AWS)
• Non-Functional testing experience will be plus - JMeter / Gatling
• Experience in industry best practices in SW development processes: Unit testing, code coverage, OO design, code quality, automation, code reviews etc
• Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Postman, etc.
