For our new office we are looking for experienced Unreal Engine 5 Game Developers with strong C++ Know-How. At first, this would be a remote role with willingness to relocate within India after offices are fully set up later this year, and/or to our Head Office in Dubai.
The role of the Multiplayer Gameplay Programmer entails implementing the network architecture and topology for the game while working collaboratively with Gameplay Designers and Programmers. It is essential to have a profound understanding of how networking impacts gameplay and to design multiplayer features that work efficiently within the network's limitations.
Moreover, the Multiplayer Gameplay Programmer must possess a comprehensive understanding of various network topologies, including the client/server model, bandwidth constraints, key algorithms, and data structures that aid in optimizing networking. They must develop robust code that can handle large multiplayer sessions, accommodating over 60 players per server.
Additionally, the Multiplayer Gameplay Programmer must have a solid grasp of network optimization and profiling. The role's responsibilities include actively participating in designing and implementing gameplay features, defining data replication sets, creating new replication models, implementing network topology for the client to dedicated server model, optimizing network bandwidth and server load, and profiling and debugging the network
