Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer in Test II at Keyword Studios, you will be the quality gatekeeper for product features used by approximately 0.8 billion monthly active users. Key responsibilities include designing and developing fully automated system test suites, building automated processes to generate system quality metrics (test coverage, regressions, test runtime), identifying challenges and risks, providing test estimates, and taking ownership of feature testing. You will also mentor junior team members, drive and maintain automation test suites, and maximize test coverage for critical features using automation. The role requires 4+ years of experience as an SDET, strong object-oriented design and coding skills, and expertise in frontend, API, and mobile automation framework development. Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript is required, along with experience using tools like Selenium and Appium. Experience with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines is also essential.

● 4+ years experience as a SDET with strong object-oriented design and coding skills.

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field or equivalent work experience.

● Good experience in Frontend, API and Mobile(iOS and Android) automation framework developments

● Demonstrated knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous deployment, and test suite development and maintenance.

● Experience in any one language is a must (Java/ Python/JavaScript)

● Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Appium for Android and iOS.

● Hands on experience in version control systems like Git or SVN is a mustExperience working with AWS services (EC2, S3, CodeBuild etc.) CI/CD pipelines.

● Be a team player with a strong sense of ownership and collaboration.

● Strong SQL/DB SkillsKnowledge of Performance and Security testing will be an added advantage.

● Good communication skills and positive work attitude.

Requirements
