Software Development Test Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Write front-end test automation

• Review and provide feedback on requirements٫ specifications, and technical design documents

• Plan and coordinate testing activities٫ thoroughly identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs

• Collaborate with other QA Engineers across Amex GBT to improve test processes

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's / Master’s in Computer Science or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

• 4+ years of QA experience in a highly available enterprise web application Understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

• Documents clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases

• Experience writing front-end/UI test automation

• Experience with performance and/or security testing

• Travel domain knowledge is a plus

What Technical Skills you will need:

• Postman/API tools, SQL, Jira

• ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Springboot, JSON, microservices, Drools

• DevOps, GIT, Docker, MS SQL Server/Postgresql, AWS Aurora, Kafka or AWS SQS/SNS
