Google Cloud is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our Android team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions for Google Voice. You will work closely with a team of engineers to design and build innovative features that improve the user experience. Responsibilities include: Providing technical leadership on high-impact projects, Influencing and coaching a distributed team of engineers, Facilitating alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines, Managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables, Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing large-scale software solutions.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience with software development
  • 2 years of experience with design and architecture
  • 2 years of experience with mobile application or full stack development
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Android development techniques and practices
  • 2 years of software development experience, preferably in Swift and/or Objective-C

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
  • 2 years of experience with mobile application or full stack development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Android development techniques and practices
  • 2 years of software development experience, preferably in Swift and/or Objective-C.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
